Thank you Organic Valley!

WAEE is proud to showcase the partners that support the 2011 WAEE Fall Conference

“If a company is going to make a difference in today’s world, it’s going to have to think differently. At Organic Valley, our philosophy and decisions are based on the health and welfare of people, animals and the earth. We’re a mission-driven cooperative, owned by family farmers, and we’ve been leaders in organic agriculture from the very beginning”.  http://www.organicvalley.coop/about-us/overview/our-history/

This is the first thing you read when you visit the Organic Valley About Us page. What an amazing way to introduce yourself as a company! Reading further you learn about how the company started in 1988 with an informal gathering of organic farmers at a courthouse. And as demand for good organic products grew so did this incredible business. “Organic is all we do”. Such dedication to a companies roots is rare and should be

applauded. A page that you should certainly check out is the “Transparency” link. This is a whole page devoted to revealing exactly what Organic Valley expects from their farmers, their farm standards, their views on organic farming issues and much more. It is great to see a company so willing to openly share what they are doing and what they stand for.
So what organic products does this company make? Milk, cream, yogurt, butter, cheese, soy, cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, eggs, juice, healthy snacks, and meat.  Of course many of these items have lots of different options that make this product list even longer. Plus, there is a huge list of delicious sounding recipes that use their products.
There is a TON of great information on this website! Like the Find Your Farmer link. How cool is that? You can actually enter your zip code and find the Organic Valley farmer that is closest to your house!

And coupons! They have coupons right there on the website. Everybody loves coupons! And where can you buy their products? Don’t worry they have a store locator on the website too.

WAEE is honored to be able to list Organic Valley has one of our sponsors this year. I really hope all of the conference participants and WAEE members will not only visit this great website but also try out their great food!
