WAEE offers two main opportunities each year for environmental educators to connect with each other face to face and network; the Fall Conference that rotates its location each year and the Winter Workshop that has most often been held in Tomahawk, WI at the Treehaven Field Station.
But since networking is such a major component of what WAEE is all about we want to do more to bring WAEE members together. To provide all of you with ways to get to know each other and learn what other educators are doing.
SO, we have all our organizational members listed on the sidebar (scroll down to see the list on the right hand side). Please be sure to check them out and find the ones that might be in your area. We have also entered the world of Facebook and try to connect with members on a more immediate basis there as well. Find us here!
But I also know that there might be members out there that have websites, blogs, companies, etc. that they would like to let us know about and share with the members but aren’t organizational members. If you fall into that category I would love to hear from you! Please leave a comment or send me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and let me know about your site and what you do! There may be some blog posts sharing all these resources in the neat future. It would be a great way for all our members to learn even more about what WAEE members are up to around the state. Creating even more networking and partnership opportunities!
Also, I have tried to find all of our organizational members on Facebook but I may have missed some. So, if you are an organizational member on Facebook please leave a comment and let me know so I can be sure to visit your page!
